What to expect to see at the Tripp Family Christmas Lights.
Is this your last year? No, we have not made that decision. If we make a decision to stop we will be sure to post a full announcement on our website.
How much does it cost to see the lights? Absolutely nothing. Our attraction is completely free. For those that want to support the lights, we do accept donations via a donation box.
Where do we park and are there restrooms available? Unfortunately, we only have streetside parking, and we do not have a public restroom. Please plan accordingly!
Are you on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram? Yes! We are on all those social networks. Follow us @TrippChristmas and tag your posts of the lights with #TrippChristmas.
May I promote my organization, cause, or event at your display? Unfortunately, we do not accept signs or posters due to a lack of space. In the past, we have helped to promote only holiday and family events. Contact Joey Tripp for more information about our policy.
When do you start putting up the lights? We start decorating the last week in September. It took about 11 weeks to set up the lights for 2014.
May I take photos or video of your display? Yes! We encourage you to bring your camera to take photos of the lights and Santa. If you post the video or pictures online please provide a link to our website so others can find out more information about us and tag it with #TrippChristmas.
How many people help put up the lights? Approximately, ten people are involved with decorating. We do not actively recruit volunteers so most of the work is done by our family. If you are interested in volunteering let us know.
How many people visit your display? We estimate about 15,000 people visit our display every year based on the number of people that sign our guestbook.
May I propose to my girlfriend/boyfriend at the Tripp Family Christmas Lights? Yes! We have had several couples to propose in our display. If you are planning to propose while visiting us please contact Joey so we are aware. We may be able to provide some assistance.
May I bring my pet with me to see the lights? We do allow pets. However, we ask that you clean up after your pet and your pet must be on a leash. If a pet damages any property or decorations the owner will be responsible for the replacement.
